Translation is the art of translating written context from one language into another. Interpreting is the art of translating spoken messages from one language into another.

Translations are charged according to the number of words of the source text (if the document does not allow a word count, we quote per page).

Editing, proofreading and copywriting services are charged by estimated work hours or per project, depending on your particular case.

Consulting sessions are performed after quote is given. They may be charged per hour or a flat rate.

You may request a free quote for your project here.

What do you mean by source language and target language?

Source language is the source text language, the original document that needs to be translated into another language.

Target language is the language you need your source text translated into.

Do you translate into other languages other than Spanish?

No. At Transcreare we believe firmly that, in order to ensure quality, a translator must translate exclusively into his or her mother tongue; all of our professionals are native speakers of Spanish (in its different locales).

We offer services into other languages through our project management services (in English, Portuguese, French, Italian, Catalan, and Galician).

What should I do when in need of services into other languages or fields of expertise?

It will be our pleasure to help you by managing your project if it belongs to our working languages (English, Portuguese, French, Italian, Catalan, and Galician). This means we will take care of your project by contacting a translator working in the language pairs and field, we will then review the translation in-house before delivering it back to you.

If we do not offer the language you require, we will be happy to link you with another professional, free of charge.

What′s your work process like?

1°. The client sends the document so we can take a close look and prepare a personalized quote and an estimated time of delivery. If the quote is accepted by the client, we request 50% of the payment in advance.

2°. We study the document, perform a previous investigation on the field of work, and we check reference documents (past translations, online materials, etc.).

3°. If necessary, we send a query log to our client.

4°. The translation is crafted.

5°. A professional who was not involved with the translation, reviews and corrects the document as a standard quality procedure.

6°. The translation is delivered to the client.

7°. We perform a final follow-up process after which the remaining 50% is charged.

How and when can I pay for your services?

Payment is done in two phases: 50% advance upon authorization of the quote and the remaining 50% upon delivery of the translation. We receive payment by bank deposit and bank transfer in Euros, USD, GBP and Mexican Pesos. For particular cases and with an additional fee, we can accept payment through services like Paypal or Skrill.

How long does it take you to translate a text?

The estimated time of delivery varies per project and depends on factors such as the length and complexity of the materials, the document’s format and the needs of the client.
